Tomorrow evening at 5:30, join ecomaine as they present their program on Wishcycling. Wishcycling is throwing items into your recycle bins that may not be recyclable. Just because it has a chasing arrows symbol doesn't mean it can go in your bin. This presentation explores the ins and outs of recycling, the many impacts of wishcycling on the recycling process, and a behind the scenes look at ecomaine's single-sort recycling facility. Bring a questionable item to recycle and we'll see if it is!

SAVE THE DATE - Wednesday, June 24 @ 5:30pm.
Ramblin' Dan Stevens is bring his Blues 101 presentation to Springvale Library. It's an entertaining, educational program tracing the history of blues music from its roots in African American traditions of the Deep South to the present. This multimedia presentation features classic blues performed on authentic vintage instruments alongside historical images and video. The music is followed chronologically through its regional development and the Great Migration to cities like Memphis and Chicago. Highlights include pieces played on Dan’s handmade three‑string “Cigar Box Guitar” and one‑string “Diddley Bow,” early blues instruments played with a bottleneck slide.
