Hey everyone! Just a heads up — the flag bearer ceremony today has been pushed to later in the day, as the flag won’t be arriving as early as originally planned.
🕐 Ceremony is now expected between 1:00 PM – 1:15 PM
The silver lining? This might open the door for MORE of you to join us! 🎉🇺🇸

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Memorial Day ceremony today. We are grateful that the rain ended and the sun came out. Our association extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who played a part in today’s event.

Our association is currently working on a Women’s Monument to be placed on the Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery grounds. Our fundraising efforts are complete and the site work is expected to begin in the spring. We will update you with new information as we progress with this new monument to honor and remember women in service of our nation.
