Keya Paha County Sheriff's Office is looking for a full-time deputy. Applicants must be 21 years of age, hold a valid driver's license, with no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions. Benefit package includes: family health insurance, retirement plan, furnished uniforms and equipment. Nebraska Law Enforcement Certification preferred but not mandatory. If individual is not certified, they need to be willing to attend the basic academy in Grand Island. The upcoming basic starts August 31st. Applications are due immediately, and can be picked up at the Keya Paha County Courthouse at 310 Courthouse Dr., Springview, NE. The deadline was July 15th for incumbents to file for Village Board, with only one of the three incumbents filing, Dustin L. Foth. All others interested in filing for Village Board have until August 3rd at 5:00 in the clerks office.
