The Springville Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) has proudly served our community since 2005. Since then the organization, its members and board of directors has promoted and created numerous programs and incentives that continue to have a positive impact on Springville residents, businesses and visitors. But the time has come for a new era of leadership and vibrancy.
SEDC has disbanded. We would like to thank the core founding directors Carol Frisch, Lena Gilbert and Trent Marner, along with the former late Mayor Bill Cooper for supporting the vision, purpose and mission of SEDC. The organization would also like to thank the Springville community for rallying around the many projects created, sponsored and/or funded by SEDC during the past 21 years.
The SEDC executive committee unanimously voted to donate the balance of our treasury to the FRIENDS OF SPRINGVILLE PARKS, INC. We believe their mission and purpose most closely align with our core values and we wish them success for their future endeavors.
Lena Gilbert, Tyson Jacobi, Cortney Pearson and Dee Wagaman, SEDC current board of directors, will always and proudly be available to consult with existing and/or new and emerging groups to help shape a New Era of vibrancy for Springville.
