8:30pm UPDATE

The water leak has been isolated so water pressure will continue to improve over the next few hours. Thanks for the hard work of our public works department in getting this resolved.

The Springville public works is working to repair a large water leak near City Hall. Most of downtown and especially areas in higher elevations will experience a loss of water pressure, and may not have water at all.

They are diligently working to resolve this issue. Please do not call unless you have an emergency. We can not give an estimated time the repairs will be completed. This is going to be an extended event because once leak is repaired, it will take some time to refill our tanks to restore normal operating pressure.

Thank you for your patience and any assistance conserving water this evening.

Customers in the affected area may experience low water pressure or a temporary loss of water service. We are working as quickly as possible to complete the repair and restore service.
