We are counting down the Class of 2025 Top 10! We continue our celebration with No. 3, Cole Bowman, son of Craig and Meredith Bowman. Cole participated in Tech Wars and played flute in the band. Outside of school, he is passionate about his faith. After graduation, Cole plans to start a career in data management and volunteer as a Bible study teacher.

We are counting down the Class of 2025 Top 10! We continue our celebration with No. 4, Robert Moriarty III, son of Robert and Julie Moriarty. He served as Student Council President, Student Liaison to SGI School Board, National Honor Society Blood Drive chairperson, bowling team captain and SGI Polar Plunge captain. He was also involved in Band, Orchestra, Key Club, French Club, baseball, football, golf, the Musical Light Crew and Homecoming Court. Robert plans to attend John Carroll University in the fall, majoring in business analytics and accounting. He ultimately hopes to pursue a master's in business administration.

We are counting down the Class of 2025 Top 10! We continue our celebration with No. 5, Makayla Heary, daughter of Frederick and Ann Heary. She is the president of National Honor Society and participated in four musical productions, as well as Science Club/Science Olympiad, French Club, Math League, Key Club, FBLA and participated in the annual Polar Plunge. She also played softball, and volleyball on the school’s team and through Niagara Frontier Club Volleyball, serving as captain in both sports. She will attend the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in accounting and business analytics, with plans of later attending law school to become a corporate attorney.

Over 50 sixth and seventh graders participated in a P.E./Athletic Team Build held on the high school turf. The event focused on strengthening bonds between classmates while building skills through football-based activities. Students also explored what it means to be a student-athlete, with an emphasis on teamwork, character development, and lifting each other up both on and off the field.

We are counting down the Class of 2025 Top 10! We continue our celebration with No. 6, Juliana Mack, daughter of Michael Mack and Laurie Kruse. She was involved in Key Club and Orchestra during her time at SGI. She also loves swimming and baking, and her favorite subjects are science and English. Juliana plans to take a gap year following graduation and then pursue higher education in a science field.

8th-Grade Semi-Formal Dance: The semi-formal dance will take place on June 13 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the SMS Café. This event is exclusively for 8th-grade students. Students are welcome to bring an 8th-grade guest from another district. To do so, they must visit the school office and pick up the “out-of-district” permission form. The completed form should be submitted by Friday, June 6. Tickets for the dance are $10 and will be available for purchase from June 9 to June 11. The ticket price includes refreshments and snacks.

We are counting down the Class of 2025 Top 10! We continue our celebration with No. 7, Margaret Domst, daughter of Nathaniel and Jessica Domst. She was president of Future Business Leaders of America, treasurer of National Honor Society, captain of the cheerleading team and was also involved in SADD. She plans to attend Binghamton University to major in neuroscience and pursue a career in the medical field.

The 5th-grade Band, Chorus, and Orchestra students represented our school with excellence, enthusiasm, and musical talent at the Darien Lake Music Competition! We are proud to announce that all three ensembles received outstanding scores from the judges and all came in 4th place in their categories!
Band: score of 96%
Orchestra: score of 95.7%
Chorus: score of 94.6%
A huge thank you to our amazing music teachers for their leadership, and to our chaperones and families for their continued support. And congratulations to our students for this well-earned recognition!
