Good evening this is Stacie Burleson from Mayland Early College high school. I look forward to seeing all students in the morning for the first day of school for the 2026 2027 school year Avery and Yancey residence that ride the bus should meet the bus at the local high school by 8 AM in the morning Mitchell residence will have a specialized bus route until Mitchell County schools opens for their school year. We have a packed agenda for tomorrow so the students need to be at school no later than 9 AM. We are all looking forward to another great school year at Mayland Early College.

Before your child receives their iPad, the $20 annual technology fee and required technology forms must be completed. You can pay and sign forms during your child's Open House or during the first week of school. Please check with your child's school for accepted payment methods.

Graduation Reminder: Harris Auditorium doors will open for guests at 5:00 pm. The ceremony will begin at 6:00 pm. Graduates should be on site by 5:20 pm. Junior marshals should report by 4:45 pm. Congratulations, class of 2026!

Due to forecasted rain the 2026 graduation will be held at the auditorium of Harris Middle School on Thursday May 21 at 6pm. Seniors should report to MECHS at 9 am on Wednesday morning for graduation practice. We will provide breakfast and have a guest speaker before moving to Harris for the rehearsal. Junior marshals are expected to attend. Thank you and have a good evening.
