Our “new to Monroe” teachers and their mentors went on an Amazing Race around the school for some team building and to learn where all of the important things are. We think they did more than AMAZING (especially in non-air conditioned conditions)! We are so excited for these new Mustangs and the year we are about to have!

We unfortunately have to move Kindergarten Round Up to Tuesday, August 18th at 5pm due to not having air conditioning in the building. Class assignments will still be determined and sent before Meet the Teacher! We are so sorry for the inconvenience!

Hi, Mustangs I'm Mrs. Nemens. I am looking forward to starting my 4th year as Assistant Principal and 13th year as a Mustang.
My summer has been filled with lots of family time. My kids Addi and Jack will both be going to college in a couple of weeks, so we have been soaking up our time together. Addi will be starting her Junior year at Lindenwood 🦁 and Jack will be starting his Freshman year at Mizzou 🐯.
In my spare time, I love to read, spend time outdoors and watch all the sports (my favorites are 🏀and ⚽️).
I am looking forward to another amazing year at Monroe I can't wait to see all of you soon ❤️🐴

Hi Monroe Families! My name is Andrea Garcia. This will be my 3rd year at Monroe. I was a paraprofessional for 2 years and now switched to the office as the attendance secretary. I am very excited to be able to help out with our non english speaking families. I am fluent English and Spanish.
A bit about me: I am a mom to a 7 year old and a 6 year old who will also be attending Monroe. I have been babysitting a lot this summer and spending lots of time with the boys!
I am so excited for this upcoming school year, and I cannot wait to see all our little mustangs again! ❤️🐴

Hi Mustangs!

I’m Nurse Coomer, and I’m excited to begin my 12th year as Monroe’s School Nurse!

This summer our family enjoyed spending time at the lake, camping, going to the beach, and making memories with family and friends. When we’re not enjoying the outdoors, you can usually find us at the hockey rink cheering on our kids! 🏒 I also celebrated earning my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in School Nursing. 🎓

Our family is excited for another school year! Grayson will be starting 4th grade, Hudson will be starting 1st grade at Monroe, and Harper will be beginning her first year of preschool at the Early Childhood Center.

I can’t wait to welcome everyone back and help make this a healthy, safe, and fun school year. See you soon, Mustangs! ❤️🖤🐎
