St. Charles County Parks is designing what will be the biggest dog park in Missouri, boasting some 50 acres for dogs to run free, chase frisbees or jump in a lake. 🐾

Sundust Preserve will be located north of New Melle on 68 acres of land donated to the County by the late Mary and David Wolk.

UPDATE (10:52p.m., Sept. 2): The issues have been resolved.

St. Charles County is experiencing 911 issues countywide. Emergency Communications is working to restore service as soon as possible.

**911 is still the number to call in an emergency.** All 911 calls are being routed to alternate numbers to allow dispatch to continue to receive emergency calls. If needed, the alternate number to reach St. Charles County Police Department is 636-949-1845.

With a Heat Advisory in place for this week, please help share the Emergency Weather Response Hotline for neighbors who need a place to stay cool inside during the hottest part of the day.

☀ The EWR program activates a cooling center when there is a Heat Advisory in effect, or the heat index is expected to reach or exceed 100 degrees for two or more days.

Call the hotline after 9 a.m. for the activation status and designated location for the day. The cooling center is operational noon to 5 p.m.
