A reminder that the Evening Book Discussion will be on hiatus for June and July. It will be back in August with a new name and a new night! Join us again in August for the Evening Page Turners Book Group, which will be facilitated by several of the adult librarians. The group will meet on the first Monday of each month in the library’s Meeting Room at 6:30 PM. Anyone 18+ is welcome; registration is encouraged either online or by phone.
The Evening Book Turners will have their meeting on August 3rd with the librarian Heidi discussing Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune.

The Jackson District Library has been added to our Libby partnering co-operatives list! Another library to give you more title options! To learn how to add their library and others to your Libby go to https://www.scsmi.net/1179/Online-Resources, scroll down to Overdrive/Libby, and click the link that says "Add more libraries to your Libby account (PDF)". The link will take you to a document that teaches you step by step how to add the other partnering co-ops to your Libby as well as give you a list of all of the participating libraries or co-ops that you can add.

The Youth Services Department will again be accepting Teen Volunteers to help with Summer Reading. To be compliant with the Michigan Youth Employment Standards Act there have been changes made to the volunteering process. All teens who wish to volunteer must be 14 years of age or older, submit an application, and have a work permit issued by their school.
