Great start this morning! All the trash was collected, and we’re hopeful this new company continues providing the same great service moving forward. Thank you Express Waste Services! 👏

Members we need your help and patience. We understand everyone's trash is piling up. Please be extra considerate when disposing of your trash.
DO NOT USE RECYCLE BIN FOR TRASH!!!!!
If there is room in another trash bin you can use that, but not the recycle bins, that only creates problem as they will not collect the cans if there is anything other than recycle items. Priority Waste is continuing to work to address delays in trash and recycling collection.
Residents are asked to leave their trash, recycling, and compost carts at the curb, as crews will be working to complete all scheduled collections.

LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS --- There have been a number of cars in the area that have been entered and rummaged through. Minor small items have been taken.
So just a friendly reminder that everyone should be locking their car doors at night and removing their car keys and key fobs. Don’t give anyone reason to go into your vehicle. Take all your valuables out of the car.
If you see any suspicious activity in your neighborhood, please call the St Clair Shores Police Department at (586) 777-6700.

While Express Waste Services will not officially begin working for the City until the end of the month, they are already stepping up to assist the St. Clair Shores residents. Express crews are helping collect yard waste while Priority Waste continues working through the weekend to address delays in trash and recycling collection.

Residents are asked to leave their trash, recycling, and compost carts at the curb, as crews from both companies will be working late this evening and throughout Saturday to complete all scheduled collections. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as these efforts continue.
