The Hometown Premiere of Soaring Together: A Tuskegee Airmen Story will be Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the Old Presbyterian Church, in Tipton, Missouri -- James Shipley's hometown. Film will be shown at 1:15 p.m. and again at 2:00 p.m. After the showings will be a panel discussion with Q & A. The building is air-conditioned! The event is free and open to the public.

🔴 BREAKING: The United Nations Has Asked Nations to Pay Reparations for Slave Trade

The UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination said states must work to redress the lasting damage caused by enslavement and its modern effects.

According to the recommendation, measures should include compensation, restitution, rehabilitation and structural reforms.

This follows Ghana’s successful push earlier this year for a resolution declaring the trade the “gravest crime against humanity.”
