Our organization was founded in St. Louis, Missouri by Naomi Carranza. Today, we continue fighting to keep the dream alive through awareness, conversation, organizing, and direct action. This is the real life impact DACA has had on us. We know this moment is monumental because it means those who were once left out, now have a chance to apply and obtain these same protections that have propelled our journeys. Between today and tomorrow, a few generous donors have stepped up to match your donations DOLLAR-FOR-DOLLAR up to $5,000. ⁣

This means your donation will go twice as far! Raising $5,000 means we will have actually raised $10,000 and that only means we can fund more DACA applicants. ⁣
⁣
Thanks to you, we have enough to fund 10 DACA applicants but we have over 20 applications from eligible DACA recipients - and as word spreads, we know we will receive more requests for support. ⁣
⁣
With the upcoming December 22 decision right around the corner, we know folks are scrambling to submit their application by Friday. This is our plan too and we”ll be distributing the funds on Thursday. ⁣
