We had a blast painting and sipping with dexter silvers for our VLAA Board Member Social last night!

Each of us has a unique perspective and interpretation even when the subject matter and instructions are the same.

🤝Met new volunteers
📚Organized our lending library with summer interns
📊 processed our July financials
🧑‍💻submitted a grant application
🖼️ hung a pop up gallery
🎉 went to an art party with Great Rivers Greenway St. Louis Arts Pacia Elaine and so many familiar faces in the community!

🍌Thank you to and for the generous donation to VLAA in honor of Bananas!

We’ve now raised a total of $100 with our banana art “funraiser,” which challenges us to ask not only “can anything be Art?” but also “Can anything be a fundraiser?” The answer so far, is yes.

Tag a friend in the comments to challenge them to make a donation to VLAA for any amount between $10 and $6.2 Million in honor of “Bananas!” and we’ll tape one to the wall with their name on it and send the original art image to them.
