St. Louis come out and see Sam and Marquetta for Music that Mentors on September 26 on our Anew Rooftop 🎵

The evening will be filled with a private R&B performance from legendary Sam Huddleston and meaningful discussion about volunteering to be a mentor from Marquetta Wise and our volunteer recruitment team.

Meet Game Changer Brian Jordan ⚾

Brian has demonstrated strong support of BBBSEMO through hands-on youth engagement and public advocacy. Through his partnership with school-based initiative, ABCToday, he has visited multiple University City elementary schools to promote literacy and achievement.

A former St. Louis Cardinals and NFL player, Brian leverages his platform to support fundraising and champions the impact of mentorship. The 2025 Battle at the Ballpark keynote speaker provides support across BBBSEMO events through his active interaction with youth and supporters that reflects a genuine, ongoing commitment to mentorship, encouragement and community empowerment.

Dr. Moss is an alumni Little and Big at BBBS Association of Florida now resides in St. Louis where he practices anesthesiology. He is the author of A Doctored Life where he chronicles his inspiring journey from youth homelessness to Harvard.

Congratulations to our own Kaelan Mayfield (Mr. Kae | Youth Mentorship & Community), Director of Nexxt Level Mentoring, on being named to the St. Louis Regional Business Council’s Leadership 100! 

The Leadership 100 is an exclusive cohort program that recognizes young professionals and emerging leaders in the St. Louis region who demonstrate leadership and a commitment to serving their communities.

Each year, 100 young professionals from RBC’s Young Professionals Network are selected for their leadership and service, providing unique opportunities for professional development, cultural engagement, and community connection throughout St. Louis.
