Our Lions participated in OES Community CARES Day today. This is a day where they go around the school and learn how to Cooperate, Act Responsibly, Respect Others, show Effort, and be Safe in all settings. They visited the cafeteria, the bus, playground, nurse’s office, and more. We even had a visit from our new SRO, Officer Kevin. Ask your student if they earned any CARES cards.

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Mrs. Shannon Schueremann, who is stepping into the role of Special Education teacher at OES! While she has been a part of the OES family as a parent for years, we are excited to officially have her expertise and passion on our teaching staff. Welcome to the team, Mrs. Schueremann!

Here are a few words from Mrs. Schuermann: I’m so excited to be joining the OES community this year! I have several years of experience teaching for Mehlville School District and am really looking forward to being part of such an amazing staff. My husband and I have two daughters; our oldest was fortunate to attend OES, and our youngest is currently a student here, so I already know how wonderful the school community is! I can’t wait to meet my new students, build relationships, and watch them grow as learners throughout the year!
