The Kpone-Tonwe Foundation STEM Scholarship Award
The Kpone-Tonwe STEM scholarship award was created with the purpose of sponsoring academic, research, and technological projects in support of higher education for Ogoni youth. Each year, the foundation provides 5 scholarship awards for Ogoni students in the United States pursuing degrees in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. These awards are meant to ease the financial burden associated with pursuing a college education in the United States.

To be eligible for the award, applicants must be from Ogoni and must be pursuing degrees at the undergraduate level in one or more of the 4 STEM disciplines in the United States.
