Uh oh! The fridge we use to store meals for our shelter clients is on its last legs, and we need your help to get a new one. Families fleeing abuse often leave with little more than the clothes on their backs, so it is essential that we’re able to provide fresh food when they stay with us. In partnership with the St. Louis County Police Department's North County Precinct, the Florissant Police Dept, the St. Louis County Library, ALIVE Inc., and the National Council of Jewish Women St. Louis, SLSLS is proud to announce the North County Justice Project. Starting next week, SLSLS will be in North County four days a week to help survivors of intimate partner violence file electronic petitions for Orders of Protection -- without having to travel to the courthouse in Clayton. By embedding our services in familiar, accessible locations, we hope to make it easier for survivors to seek help earlier and more safely. See flyer for schedule.

What if we told you that you could be really ridiculously good looking AND help people? It’s SO hot right now 💅

St Louis University hosted a very stylish fashion show yesterday to stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual assault! The pants in the first clip on ALIVE mannequin Kit were created by our art support group with supplies donated by City Sewing Room. We are blown away by the talent and support for survivors that went into this project!
