It's National Intern Day! Over the years, we've had the opportunity to work with several smart, talented and thoughtful students who have each left their mark on our work. We're grateful to have been a part of their journey. Our next practicum student will be joining us in August, so stay tuned to learn more about her! For more information about our practicum program, visit stlcsf.org/careers/internships.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our Grassroots and Core partners on July 17 at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center! As our Board Vice Chair William Douthit shared with attendees: "Your dedication is evident, your impact is meaningful, and your partnership is invaluable." Thank you to all who joined us!

On International Self Care Day, we'd like to give a special shoutout to our amazing CSF Wellness Committee. ❤️ They are always coming up with creative ways to keep wellness a priority at work, and this week they made a snack bar filled with everyone's favorite treats! It was a welcome mid-afternoon pick-me-up and a great reminder that taking a pause and learning something fun about each other is always a good idea!

Yesterday was National Be A Good Teammate Day! We may be a day late celebrating, but we have some of the best teammates around and couldn't miss the opportunity to share a few of our favorite team pics! 😊🫶

Connecting with our partners is one of the best parts of our work. Thank you, Joe's Place, for having our program officer Ming out for a check-in visit this week!

Joe’s Place offers unhoused students in the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District a caring home environment that supports them for high school graduation, self-sufficiency, and positive transitions into their adult lives. Learn more about their work at joesplacestl.org.

We'd like to extend a big thank you to all of our 2026-2029 Core partners for joining us at our recent orientation to learn all about what it means to partner with us. We know we shared a lot of information, and we appreciate everyone for engaging with us and each other, asking good questions, and laughing at our jokes! 🙃 Here's to the next three years of strong partnerships and quality behavioral health care for St. Louis County kids and families!

See who's partnering with us at https://stlcsf.org/2026/07/01/2026-2029-core-partner-announcement/.

Our Youth Advisory Council has begun developing their funding opportunity! Our board of directors has approved up to $150,000 for the council to allocate how they see fit. Recently, council members used our 2025 community health needs assessment to start discussions around community need and begin determining their top priorities. We are grateful for their thoughtful consideration and look forward to seeing what they choose to support through their funding opportunity!

Yesterday, our team took a field trip to the Missouri History Museum to see the Mill Creek: Black Metropolis exhibit. We all walked away with a deeper understanding of the vibrant Mill Creek Valley neighborhood and it's intentional erasure from St. Louis. If you haven't seen the exhibit yet, you still have a few days left before it closes this weekend! https://mohistory.org/exhibits/mill-creek
