Missouri Jobs with Justice

Missouri Jobs with Justice Building transformative power for social, racial, and economic justice in Missouri. Jobs with Justice is action-oriented.

During each year, members and organizations take the Jobs with Justice Pledge to "Be There" at least five times for someone else's fight as well as their own. That means joining picket lines, attending contract rallies and participating in other actions or demonstrations for economic and social justice. Pledgers are mobilized through meetings, phone banks and email alerts.

Mike Kehoe says he supports children's literacy.

Here's what his statement leaves out: the budget he signed cut Missouri's funding for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library from $6 million to $2 million — a 67% cut.

Because of the reduced funding, Missouri stopped accepting new children into the program July 1. Nearly 170,000 Missouri kids had been receiving a free book every month.

Dolly believed every child deserved books. Missouri families deserve the whole story.

Missouri said what it said. 💅

Last week, voters overwhelmingly rejected Amendments 4 and 5 — defending majority rule, public schools, and the power of Missourians to have a say in our own government.

Turns out standing with workers, protecting public schools, defending direct democracy, and showing up at the ballot box?

Kind of chic.

And we’re not done. ✊
