The NFSA St. Louis Chapter side-by-side burn trailer was out today at the West County EMS & Fire Protection District Fall Festival!

The first half of this video is purposely uneventful, and that’s exactly the point! The first room is protected by a single fire sprinkler, which activates and controls the fire before it can grow out of control. Afterwards, the unprotected room undergoes the same demonstration, and as you’ll see, the result is a completely different story!

A big thank you to the National Fire Sprinkler Association - NFSA for putting on this demonstration and to West County EMS & Fire Protection District for having us at their event!

Fire Sprinklers Save Lives and Property!

It’s truly rewarding to see the reactions of attendees as they witness firsthand the difference fire sprinklers can make. Demonstrations like this help people understand the importance of the work we do every day: buying precious time for occupants to escape, protecting property, and ultimately saving lives.

Sprinkler Save! 💦🔥⏰

ONE SPRINKLER Makes All The Difference Again!

Last night around 9:50 PM, Cottleville Fire Protection District responded to a commercial fire alarm at a Multi-story residential complex in St. Peters.

Upon arriving, they noted there was a fire on the 3rd floor balcony of a residential unit. A single dry sidewall sprinkler head installed to protect the balcony was able to hold the fire in check until the Fire Department quickly arrived and extinguished the remaining flames with a watering can.

Our technician, Dan W., was on site this morning to put the system back into service following the activation. While on site, he was able to talk to a resident who witnessed the event. The resident was overwhelmed with gratitude and in awe of the effect the sprinkler system had in keeping the fire in check and activating the fire alarm. They noted that if the sprinkler had not activated when it did, the result could have been devastating.

Just another real life example of Fire Sprinklers Protecting Lives and Property!

Shoutout to our Technician Dan W. for the great work and pictures, and thank you to the men and women of Cottleville Fire Protection District for the quick response!

One Sprinkler Makes All the Difference! 💧🔥

Early Saturday morning, we received an emergency service call from one of our customers. When our technician Jim arrived, he learned that a fire had occurred in the building's data/communications room around 5:00 AM.

A single fire sprinkler activated and kept the fire in check, helping prevent what could have been a much more serious situation.

Jim was able to replace the activated sprinkler and quickly get the fire sprinkler system back into service.

We are happy to share stories like this because they demonstrate exactly why fire sprinkler systems are so important. Without sprinkler protection, this incident could have had a very different outcome.

And a big shoutout to Jim N. for the quick response to an early-morning weekend service call!
