THANK YOU, Oakville Middle School PTO, for an AMAZING Fall Fest 2026!

What a fun-filled day for our kids! From bouncing around in the fun jump and showing off their skills in the co****le tournament to pumpkin painting and dunking staff in the dunk booth, there was something for everyone to enjoy! The rain didn’t stop us from having a great time.

And let’s not forget the snacks, snacks, and MORE snacks!

A HUGE thank-you to the Oakville Middle School PTO for putting together such a wonderful event and to all the amazing parents who volunteered their time, donated snacks, and helped make Fall Fest such a success.

It takes a village to create these special memories for our kids, and we are so grateful for everyone who pitched in to make it happen!

Have a wonderful weekend!

A Beautiful Touch of Creativity at Oakville Middle School!

We are so excited to celebrate the beautiful mural that now brightens one of our hallways at Oakville Middle School!

A huge shout-out and heartfelt thank you to our very own Sami Hornick, Cafeteria Monitor/Office Assistant, for sharing her artistic talents and bringing this space to life! Her creativity and dedication have added something truly special to our school, creating a space that students and staff can enjoy and appreciate every day.

We are so fortunate to have talented and caring members of our school family who go above and beyond to make Oakville Middle School a wonderful place to learn and work.

Thank you, Ms. Hornick for making our hallways a little more beautiful and our school a little more special.

Learning comes to life at OMS!

Our students have been immersed in hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and deeper understanding across every subject.

In Creative Writing, students are designing plot diagrams to explore story structure and demonstrate their understanding of key elements.

In Science, students are building and testing marble runs—designing, experimenting, making adjustments, and learning from the results!

In Math, students are using whiteboards and mathematical strategies to work through problems, share their thinking, and learn from one another.

In Social Studies, students are creating detailed dioramas focused on Indigenous tribes and then presenting their learning to their classmates.

These experiences give students opportunities to create, collaborate, question, problem-solve, and communicate—turning learning into something they can see, touch, test, and share.

We are so proud of the curiosity, creativity, and engagement our OMS students are bringing to their learning every day. We are also grateful for our staff who design and facilitate these meaningful learning opportunities for our students.
