We advocate for policies and initiatives that strengthen Missouri’s business climate and drive economic expansion across all industries.

We unite stakeholders statewide to support smart growth, investment, and long-term prosperity. The MGA is a trade association of commercial property owners, managers and developers. It was formed in 1985 to promote governmental initiatives that are beneficial to Missouri's economy and commercial property interests, and to oppose government measures and practices that harm our economy or the intere

st of the commercial property industry. MGA monitors both State and local government activities and has an active government relations team in Jefferson City.

SB 1410 modifies various provisions relating to property taxes by:
• Requiring earlier, more detailed notices when assessed valuations increase
• Showing projected tax liability + itemized information from taxing jurisdictions
• Revises deadlines for appeals to boards of equalization
• Authorizes counties to offer installment payment options for property taxes
