A Heartfelt Thank You to the VFW Post 3944 Auxiliary

On behalf of the Northeast Ambulance & Fire Protection District and our Safe Haven Baby Box project, thank you to the VFW Post 3944 Auxiliary for their generous $5,000 donation toward bringing a Safe Haven Baby Box to our community.

Your support helps provide a safe, secure, and anonymous option for parents in crisis while protecting the lives of vulnerable newborns. We are incredibly grateful for your kindness, hospitality, and belief in this lifesaving mission.

The Northeast Ambulance & Fire Protection District would like to sincerely thank Kwame Building Group, Inc. for its generous $5,000 donation to support the installation of a Safe Haven Baby Box in our community.

Kwame Building Group, Inc. is a prominent construction and program management firm headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.

Lieutenant Steven Walton is pictured accepting the donation from Anthony “Tony” Thompson. Mr. Thompson founded the company in 1991 and is widely recognized as one of the most successful minority business leaders in the St. Louis region.

This generous contribution brings our community one step closer to providing a safe, anonymous, and life-saving option for infants in need.

Legacy Brick Campaign – Support the Safe Haven Baby Box

To help fund our Safe Haven Baby Box, we are launching a Legacy Brick Campaign.

For a limited time donors have the opportunity to memorialize their contribution with a custom engraved brick that will be permanently installed at the site of the baby box. Individuals may include a name or message, and businesses may include their company name. There are also some images that are available.

Request the donation link or QR code and after making a tax-deductible donation to Safe Haven Baby Boxes, Inc. (designated for the Northeast Ambulance & Fire Protection District), donors will receive a receipt for their donation. Once you present a copy of the receipt you will be given a website and code to complete your brick engraving online.

All bricks are backed by a lifetime warranty and will be installed beneath the Safe Haven Baby Box.

Donation Levels:
• Bronze – $100+: 4” x 8” engraved brick
• Gold – $500+: 8” x 8” engraved brick
• Diamond – $1,000+: engraved brick with premium placement

Corporations and individuals interested in making larger contributions may also sponsor a custom 16” × 16” engraved section. Please inquire for details.

All inscriptions must be appropriate, non-derogatory, and pre-approved by the fire district and manufacturer.

The employees of the Northeast Ambulance and Fire Protection District would like to sincerely thank our residents for coming out, supporting Proposition F, and voting YES on the initiative. Your support allows the Fire District to continue providing high-quality emergency services to our community.

Once again, we extend our appreciation to everyone who took the time to participate. On a personal note, it was a pleasure meeting many of our residents and having the opportunity to build stronger relationships with both community members and council representatives while at the polls.

ST. LOUIS — Y’all showed OUT! 🔥

We want to give a HUGE thank you to everybody who pulled up and supported our community car wash fundraiser. The love was real, the energy was high, and we made some solid connections while having a great time doing it!

Major shoutout to the Rare Breed Motorcycle Club of St. Louis for sliding through and dropping off a check from their skating fundraiser last weekend — that’s real community support right there and we appreciate it heavy!

And we can’t forget our firefighters and paramedics who came out on their OFF DAY to put in work washing cars… that dedication doesn’t go unnoticed 💪🏽

This is what it looks like when a community comes together for a purpose. We’re getting closer to the goal because of ALL of you!
