We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the members of St. Anselm Parish in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Members of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Pro Life Ministry learned about the Northeast Ambulance and Fire Protection District’s mission to bring a Safe Haven BABY BOX to the St. Louis County community. After hearing Lt. Walton’s presentation, they invited him to speak at every Mass this past weekend.

Through the generosity and compassion of the parish, a sizeable donation is being raised in support of the Safe Haven program. Their contribution brings us one step closer to making this vital, life-saving resource available in the area.

We are incredibly grateful for their support and their commitment to protecting the lives of our most vulnerable children.

🚒❤️ A great day at the firehouse! ❤️🚒

Today, the members of A Shift had the pleasure of welcoming the amazing children and staff from Time Away Learning Center to our fire station for a special visit.

The children enjoyed touring the station, seeing our fire trucks and ambulances up close, meeting our firefighters and paramedics, and learning important fire safety tips.

As a thank-you for visiting, each child went home with a gift bag and a junior firefighter helmet. We hope they had as much fun as we did!

Our firefighters truly enjoy connecting with the community and inspiring the next generation. Opportunities like these remind us why community outreach is such an important part of what we do.

Stories like this should concern all of us.

Less than a week ago, a baby believed to be less than one month old was abandoned and left outside unattended in a park. Fortunately, the infant was discovered by a passerby and turned over to authorities before any harm came to the child.

This situation underscores the need for Safe Haven Baby Boxes in communities across our region. It is one of the many reasons Firefighter/Paramedic Steven Walton and the Northeast Ambulance & Fire Protection District are working to bring a Safe Haven Baby Box to the fire station.

We are currently seeking donations to help make this lifesaving project a reality. If you or your organization would like to support our efforts, we would be grateful for your assistance.

In addition, Firefighter/Paramedic Walton is available to provide presentations explaining the Safe Haven Baby Box program, its impact, and the need for this resource in our community. He would be honored to speak with your:

The infant was found sleeping in a car seat. Police asked for the public's help identifying the baby and his family.

A Heartfelt Thank You to the VFW Post 3944 Auxiliary

On behalf of the Northeast Ambulance & Fire Protection District and our Safe Haven Baby Box project, thank you to the VFW Post 3944 Auxiliary for their generous $5,000 donation toward bringing a Safe Haven Baby Box to our community.

Your support helps provide a safe, secure, and anonymous option for parents in crisis while protecting the lives of vulnerable newborns. We are incredibly grateful for your kindness, hospitality, and belief in this lifesaving mission.
