Turtle Playground, St. Louis, MO Please share your pictures and stories of our great landmark here for all to enjoy. The turtles were designed and sculpted by St. Louis artist Robert Cassilly.

Turtle Playground, which features three large and four small turtles, was officially opened in cermonies Saturday, Aug. 3, 1996. A joint project of the city's Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry and Forest Park Forever, it is a playground within Forest Park. The park was designed by architect Richard Claybour.
