Overland Park, KS — March 25, 2020 — Today amid the COVID-19 global pandemic, KC Fast Tax announced immediate availability of This service is only being extended to people that have not previously filed a tax return for the 2018 or 2019 tax year. In order to qualify for free tax preparation for the years of 2018 and 2019, you must meet the one of the following qualifiers: , enabling qualifying citizens that have not already completed their tax return for the tax years of 2018 and 2019 to prepare and file returns associated with the before listed years at no charge.

Keeping You Informed
The White House and Senate passed a COVID-19 bill to allow stimulus relief for working citizens. However, you must have filed a tax return in the years of 2018 and/2019. If you have not filed your taxes, you will not be eligible to receive this stimulus, this includes people receiving Social Security Insurance (SSI). KC Fast Tax is here to ensure everyone impacted will be eligible for that stimulus from the government because you are the sufferers and you deserve it.
What are the requirements?
This service is only being extended to people that have not previously filed a tax return for the 2018 or 2019 tax year. In order to qualify for free tax preparation for the years of 2018 and 2019, you must meet the one of the following qualifiers:
Have a gross income of $30,000 or less
Active college students
Have lost employment due to the COVID-19 pandemic
Have been diagnosed with a positive case of COVID-19

All refunds will be issued to the mailing address or direct deposit account listed on your most recent tax return. Therefore, either maintain an active, positive checking account to receive a direct deposit or a current mailing address to receive your stimulus check.

We love to tell real world stories about what happens when buyers and sellers come together to try and do a deal. Recently, an owner agreed to finance 50% of the purchase price of their business. As the due diligence process began, the type of questions that the buyer was asking became a red flag for the seller. The process was also getting bogged down by the buyer not responding in a timely manner. The buyer wouldn’t answer what we would consider normal, everyday conversational questions some of which had to do with moving his family to town to run the business.

This caused the seller to start to doubt that the buyer was going to pay back the loan, run the business properly and take care of the employees. The seller was thinking: "If you are acting this way with me, my key people aren’t going to be able to work with you and will leave. If the key people leave, the business will fail and you won’t be able to pay back the loan".

The lesson here is that character and being responsive are incredible factors that come into play when a deal is being discussed. Remember to put yourself in the other person's shoes for a moment. Negotiations could go your way more often.
