🍂 As the season changes, it's the perfect time to change a neighbor's story — with your time or your vehicle.

Volunteers are needed all fall including at our Older Adult Resource Fair on Friday, September 18! Help set up tables and chairs and arrange the space before guests arrive, then pitch in with breakdown and cleanup afterward.

Other openings right now include the Food Pantry & Clothing Closet, Warehouse Support, and Childcare Front Desk.

Can't make it in person? Donating a vehicle you no longer use is just as impactful — it helps keep utilities on, food on the table, and families stable through fall and winter. 💛

Guardian Angel's Graceful Guardians program is hosting a free Resource Fair on Friday, September 18, from 9 AM to 12 PM at 3300 S. Jefferson Ave (enter on the North/Utah St. side).

We're inviting our older adult neighbors, ages 60+, to come connect with local organizations offering health, housing, financial, and community resources — plus enjoy free food, raffle prizes, and line dancing with Together We Dance from 10-11 AM! 💃

Our volunteers showed up Saturday — and we mean showed up. 🙌

Backpacks to pack, supplies to sort, kids to cheer on — and temperatures that didn't quit. Through all of it, our volunteers were there with energy, helping hands, and plenty of smiles.

The Back-to-School Fair doesn't happen without you. Thank you for giving your time and your heart to the children and families we serve. You made the day possible. 💛📚✏️

September is packed at Guardian Angel — here's what's coming up in the first couple weeks!

🎉 Sept 4 — Parking Lot Friday | 2–4 PM
Free food, music, local vendors, and community resources — plus MO birth certificate and ID support. Come hang out with us!
💳 Sept 17 & 23 — Building Credit & Financial Freedom
Nico from Midwest Bank Centre stops by twice this month (8 AM on the 17th, 10 AM on the 23rd).
Also on deck: Pathways to Prosperity Workshops and bingo on the 10th.

💍 Sept 16 — Jewelry Making | 10 AM–12 PM
Get creative and make something to take home. All supplies provided, refreshments served.
🩺 Sept 18 — Older Adult Resource Fair | 9 AM–12 PM
Meet 15+ local organizations, enjoy refreshments, giveaways, and raffles.

A big thank you to our friends at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in St. Louis! 🧽

They spent an afternoon at our Child Development Center scrubbing down chairs and toys, top to bottom, so our littlest neighbors have a clean, healthy space to learn and play.

Part of the job meant working outside during the heat wave, and the Anthem team didn't miss a beat — staying in great spirits the whole time. We're so grateful for volunteers who show up and get their hands dirty for our kids!
