J Street U at WashU J Street U at WashU is the WashU campus voice for peace, security and social justice in Israel and the Palestinian Territories

J Street U at WashU is our campus branch of the national organization J Street U. J Street U is the student organizing arm of the Washington, DC-based national organization, J Street, which is the only pro-Israel, pro-peace American Jewish political group. J Street combines active Congressional lobbying tactics, media buys and community activities to advocate for a peaceful and just two-state solu

tion between Israelis and Palestinians. Our primary mission is to promote a pro-Israel, pro-Palestinian, pro-peace stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict by advocating for a two-state solution. On campus, J Street U undergoes campaigns, where we try and create a coalition of student organizations and interested parties to join the national student movement of two states for two peoples in Israel and Gaza/West Bank by voicing the student opinion about key issues. In addition, we hold many educational events throughout the semester; smaller ones, where we have in-depth dialogue about various issues concerning the conflict; and larger ones such as speakers or movie viewings.
