💤 March is National Sleep Awareness Month!
Did you know that healthy sleep plays an important role in children’s learning, behavior, and emotional regulation? When young children get consistent, restorative sleep, they are better able to focus, participate in classroom activities, and manage their emotions throughout the day.
Next week during Parent–Teacher Conferences March 18th and 19th, therapy staff will have sleep resources available for families that include:
• Recommended sleep amounts for young children
• Tips for calming bedtime routines
• Strategies to support healthy sleep habits at home
We encourage families to stop by and take a resource to learn more about how sleep supports school success! 💤
