This Mother’s Day, we honor the women whose strength is often unseen.

The mothers rebuilding after homelessness.
The mothers caring for adult children with disabilities.

The women carrying responsibility, love, exhaustion, and hope all at once.

Every story looks different.
But each one deserves dignity, support, and compassion.

Today, we celebrate the resilience of the women and mothers who continue showing up for the people they love every single day.

Happy Mother’s Day from Magdala House

Give STL Day is over.

And St. Louis showed up.

Together, we raised $1,200 to help people experiencing homelessness and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities move toward independence and stability.

Thank you to everyone who gave, shared, and believed in this work.

Because of you, someone in St. Louis gets to take their next step forward.

This is what community looks like.

Today is almost over.
But the need is not.

So far, we have raised$1,050 toward our $5,000 Give STL Day goal.

We are close.

Right now, someone in St. Louis is still searching for safety.
Still hoping support will be there.
Still waiting for what comes next.

For people experiencing homelessness.
For adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Different paths. Same need for support.

There is still time.

Give before midnight and help someone move forward.

From instability to stability.
From uncertainty to independence.
From isolation to community.

That is what Magdala House makes possible.

For people experiencing homelessness.
For adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Different paths. Same purpose.

Today is Give STL Day and we are $4,000 from our $5,000 goal.

A place to call home changes everything.
So does the support to build a life of your own.

Give now and be the reason someone moves forward.

Someone in St. Louis is searching for safety, support, and stability.

That is why today matters.

Today is Give STL Day.

For nearly 60 years, Magdala House has served the unserved, underserved, and poorly served people of St. Louis because dignity should never depend on who you are, where you come from, or what you’ve been through.

Every day, people move from instability to independence through emergency shelter, transitional housing, rapid rehousing, and support for individuals living with disabilities.

We’ve seen people go from sleeping on sidewalks to holding the keys to their own homes.

We’ve seen people regain confidence, stability, and hope for what comes next.

And today, someone else is still waiting for that same opportunity.

Magdala House is working to reach a $5,000 Give STL Day goal, and every gift helps provide shelter, support services, and a pathway toward independence.

Give today and help someone move forward.

He came back holding his apartment key.

Not long ago, he was trying to figure life out without stability and without the support system most people rely on.

Then he came to Magdala House Tiny Homes.

He took advantage of the support, resources, and guidance available to people working toward permanent housing.

And it changed his life.

Today, he has a place of his own.

He came back to encourage new tenants, holding up his key and reminding them that having their own place is possible too.

That moment says everything.

Right now, someone else is at the beginning of that same journey.

And what happens next depends on whether support is there.

One day until Give STL Day.

We’re working to reach $5,000 to help make more stories like this possible.

Gifts of $25, $50, or $100 help someone move one step closer to stability.

Give right now: https://bit.ly/4mFXVZ3

Tomorrow is Give STL Day.

And tomorrow, we fight for more moments like:

holding an apartment key for the first time.
learning a new skill independently.
finally feeling stable again.

Someone’s life can look different because support showed up at the right moment.

And someone else is still waiting for that same chance.

More tomorrow.

Give STL Day is May 7, 2026!

Jillian didn’t start with everything figured out.

She started with one goal.
Learn CPR.

And she did.

But progress like this doesn’t happen on its own.

For adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities,
it’s built through daily support.
Through people who show up and stay.

That’s what makes growth like this possible.

And right now, someone else is just getting started.

What happens next depends on whether that support is there.

Give today. Help someone keep going.

Where you start doesn’t have to be where you stay.

Magdala House began as a halfway house in 1968.
A place for women coming out of prison who needed somewhere to go and a chance to begin again.

More than 55 years later, that need is still here.
It looks different now, but the moment is the same.

Today, we serve individuals experiencing homelessness and adults with disabilities working toward independence.
People who need support, stability, and a way forward.

A place to land.
Support that stays.

And right now, someone is trying to figure out what comes next.

You make sure they don’t have to figure it out alone.

Give today. Support someone taking their next step.
