Little Free Library of Oakville #49151

Little Free Library of Oakville #49151 The Little Free Library of Oakville is always open. It's the first one in South County! Take a book, leave a book. Always a gift, never for sale. Take a book.

This Little Free Library of Oakville offers a way to share good things to read - favorite books from your childhood or books you would recommend to friends! Share a book with another Little Free Library. Give a book... leave notes in the books you leave! We are looking for books that teach, intrigue, and engage you. All of us can help by keeping its collection stocked with good reading material. O

ur stewards became obsessed with the Little Free Library movement and built this beauty from leftover materials they found. Our 6-year-old steward even helped paint the exterior! There are bookmarks, erasers, tissues, and even PUZZLES in our LFL. Please help yourself. Don't forget to sign the guest book when you visit. We'd love to hear from you! Check back often - we are swapping out books often!

Thanks to support from Scholastic and the EyeSeeMe bookstore, and incredible community partners, Ferguson Youth Initiative, Ferguson Public Library, and the City of Ferguson, the Little Free Library organization provided our Little Free Library of Oakville with a bundle of brand-new, beautiful, diverse books.

Through this collaboration, LFL is establishing four new Little Free Library book-sharing boxes in high-impact areas in Ferguson and distributing 700 diverse books to promote understanding, equity, and inclusion. Our 11yo is already reading, “El Deafo”, a graphic novel by Cece Bell. 📖
