Hello Panther Community,

I wanted to share the pictures of our last day of school! It has been a rewarding experience to be a part of the Hyde Park Community. The growth I have seen our staff, students, and families is a definite highlight of my career. My hope is the magic, the growth and the memories that occurred over the past two years will never be forgotten. As these Panther Students move on in their educational journey, I look forward to seeing them as capable, confident citizens within our Saint Louis community and around the world. Thank you for supporting me as your school principal, in the most challenging time of education.

Sincerely,
Ms. Tanisha Stanciel

Sending a huge to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch for visiting our school and witnessing our Growth Celebration last week! We based our goals on the requirements set by our district assessments from Fall-Spring. 80% of our students made continuous growth in reading and 87% of our students made continuous growth in math. Over 100 medals of growth were given to our students. What a wonderful way to end our year. The pictures are priceless. Congrats to our staff who provided instruction and support to our students and our families who made certain our students made it to school daily, ready to learn! The village came together and it showed!

Students at Arch Community charter school accepted academic achievement awards by bursting from their classrooms and bounding down a hallway of cheering faculty and staff during their end-of-year awards ceremony.

Yesterday, we celebrated our Kindergarten class being promoted to 1st grade! Sending a huge to their teacher Ms. Lynn Ludwig. We appreciate you working with this energetic bunch to help them reach their goals! Many received recognition for reading, and 100% of students reached a year's growth according to district assessments in math! Enjoy their memories!

Thank you Ms. Ashley Green for creating this slide show!

It took us two separate trips, but we all made it to the Saint Louis Zoo! Teachers prepared several academic activities to help make connections for this trip. Both days were absolutely perfect for visiting animals. Thank you to the parents who joined us! Don’t mind us; we really love our peace signs when taking pictures✌🏾😂

We celebrated 27 published authors earlier this week! For 14 of them, this will be their second time! Our theme was ! As stated on page 2 of the book, while this may be our last book as a community, my hope is this will not be the end of these students’ writing journey. I hope they are proud and take ownership of what they have accomplished.

Additionally, this book honored our fallen fourth-grade panther with his last piece of writing before his passing in October.

We also send a huge to fifth-grade student, Rayven Finger, our book cover illustrator!

We also send a huge to our staff who supported this class throughout its process.

Enjoy the pictures of our book reveal, red carpet walk and book signing! I am so proud to be their principal 💙💛 Studentreasures Publishing

Happy Friday Panther Families!

Just wanted to share this quick video of Ms. Halbert and 3 first graders, Kaliyah, Kaydence, and Cianna singing our Black National Anthem during the morning meeting. Sorry, I hit record a few seconds into the song. Thanks to our music teacher, Ms. Thuet, with Ms. Halbert assisting, our panthers sing this song daily! Enjoy!
