Today Deputy Chief C***s and Sergeant Sellers hosted CPR certification training for 30 students from the DeSousa Brent Scholars Program! These classes are free of charge, and there will be four sessions available in the Fall semester. Students who complete the online portion as well as the in-person training receive a certification from the Red Cross, valid for two years. Look out for sign-ups, which will be available in September!

A huge thanks to SMCM SGA for funding these trainings to make them free for students!

On June 16th Deputy Chief C***s and Sergeant Sellers provided training for campus staff on CPR, AED, and First Aid. Thanks to funding provided by the Staff Senate, each staff member who successfully completed the training received a 2 year certification from the Red Cross at no cost.
