This after slightly after 430pm we were requested to Relocate with our Tanker to Pleasant Valley station 2 for standy coverage in their District. Pleasant Valley was operating @ house fire @ 71 Albrecht ln.Along with other Mutual aid departments per their 2nd Alarm assignment.

Upon relocating we were advised by 911 to Re- direct to the scene per Pleasant Valley command.Upon arriving about 20 minutes later we were released along with other Tankers to Return to quarters.
Therefore we were not needed but in this business as they say get em on the road if not needed you can always return them better to be safe than sorry.

Good morning Residents,
I would like to Thank our members as well as our Mutual Aid Departments for coming out on Wednesday evening as we ran a Tanker Shuttle drill.

Special Thanks to East Clinton,Pleasant Valley,Red Hook as well as our Tanker .Objectives were met with draft site filling them up shuttling water to our Station 1 with porta Tank set up dumping and going .We also had Draft site set up out of Porta Tank running 2 hand lines ,along with Master stream going meaning Deck gun all@ the same time.

Some of members have never witnessed this so it was educational training them to many as well. Our geographic area is All about Tanker operations. We do not have True Hydrants like some villages surrounding us.We rely on Mutual aid Tankers for water supply. We have 4 Dry Hydrants in our District that we pull from capable of flowing with 6 inch Suction capable of flowing 1250 Gallons per minute for Drafti f out of ponds and or lakes we rely heavy on in the event of.These dry Hydrants get back flushed every 3 months pushing any sediment around them away below Frost line of 3 ft.Therefore they dont freeze up in Winter time.

Also special thanks to Fire Police members directing traffic on West Meadow Brook ln.Turning tankers around getting them filled and guiding them backing up after dumping and going.Mission accomplished πŸ‘ Again Thank you to All Involved.

Good morning Residents so its Annually begun of Servicing of all District Emergency vehicles by Hopewell Fire Appartus. Bumper to Bumper Top to Bottom .Station 2 trucks were completed yesterday happy to say no issues Fingers crossed 🀞🀞lol.
They will head now to station 1 today and possibly tomorrow if need to finish up.

Our Ambulance gets serviced 2 to 3 times a year due to volume of calls &Mileage. Both Chief Vehicles go to Romeo Chevrolet twice a year .

Just another example of Where your Taxpayer dollars goes towards in Maintaining All Emergency Vehicles. Thank you Steve,Jim for your 26 years of Quality Service to our Fire District.

Good after Residents especially those that we serve in our District boundaries.S tarting on Monday of this week each day as we are taking each and every vehicle for NYS IINSPECTION . Well on Monday July 13th the driver whom took 1st vehicle over to Vankleecks tire advised going over he had unfortunately smelled Antifreeze .

Upon his arrival there sure enough he now realized Antifreeze leaking out from underneath and notified me immediately. Upon him returning as I was currently there @ Station awaiting his return .The leaking was still continuing @ in which @ that point I placed Vehicle out of Service immediately and notified our Vendor known As Hopewell Fire Apparatus which is located down on Rt 82 In Hopewell. Unfortunately he was down in Armonk doing other repairs and Advised me he would be up 1st thing on Tuesday morning in which they were for Several hrs.And Repaired District Apparatus and road tested after etc. to run it making sure issue resolved in which it was.

My point being we've been a customer of theirs since 2000 and over the year's they've treated our District well with providing great Quality Service. Not only are we fortunate to have such a great vendor our Taxpayers as well should be grateful as this is another example of your Fire Taxes you Pay go towards for Repairs.

In the 26 years as our Vendor to us His Honesty ,Quality Service Loyalty to our Fire District has been nothing less than Exceptional and not 1 time back for same Issue regardless.
Its been a great deal of pleasure working with them personally when needed I couldn't be any more Grateful and as our Board of Fire Commissioners as well appreciating your Quality Service .

Thank you Chief .

Good evening residents &Members Before I go further posting anything regarding our EMS alarm on Tuesday July 7th Tuesday please understand Due To HIPPA regulations I cannot go into to much detail being a NYS LAW and or Violating HIPPA regulations.

This is not really so much regarding the nature of Alarm we answered more so about Requionizing our Professional paid staff of EMTS as well as our Volunteers also.
Would like to Recognize Samantha Jones,Lindsay Martin for their Professional services they provided to a patient on Tuesday July 7th as due to the nature this Medical emergencie was a load and Go situation Lights and Siren from start to end of Transporting to Level 2 Trauma center know as Mid -Hudson Regional Hospital as the Trauma team was awaiting our arrival upon arrival.Samantha advised me need a driver Without hesitation as both were needed for Patient care in the back.So I drove and while enroute not only the Care the Patient received from them both had him talking and @ times a little laughter with the Patient considering circumstances they were under as well as the Patient joking with them as well.

Ladies thank you for your Professional support πŸ™ as it will not go on Recognized. Unfortunately due to multiple other alarms in the County yes Empress ALS was dispatched from the get go but unfortunately had an extended time of Arrival due to their location as they were canceled as well we simply could not wait@ times this occurs.
The Patient was transported to Westchester medical Center for several hrs.of Surgery and Fortunately released the next day to Reunite with his Wife&2 young children locally. We wish him the very best Recovery what ever may lie ahead πŸ™ from all of us here @ West Clinton during this unfortunate time Best Wishes our Thoughts are with you all.
