AVB is a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit veteran service organization that offers the “ONLY” ALL Armed Forces Service Ball in the country. AVB was initially created to provide “ALL” veterans of the “Armed Forces” with the opportunity to participate in an annual service ball similar to our active service components. The most common denominator we discovered was that once we’d transitioned out of our
respective branches of service, there was an immediate disconnection with these traditional and customary events of shared comradeship, which we’ve always treasured. Yet, despite this disconnection, whether in or out of the uniform, we still live out our instilled values and way of life as active leaders in our communities, workplaces, and every good endeavor. Our MISSION is to honor veterans, preserve their legacies, combat veteran suicide, and empower them to overcome life challenges, including the pursuit of meaningful employment. We achieve this by fostering holistic and interconnected support systems that inspire and engage military spouses and dependents, creating a future where they thrive beyond their service. Our VISION is realized by a united community where veterans, their families, and military dependents are empowered to lead fulfilling lives after service. We envision a future where meaningful employment, mental well-being, and strong legacies are celebrated and where the scourge of veteran suicide is significantly reduced. Together, we work towards a society that honors and supports the heroes who have selflessly served our nation, forging a path to a brighter future for all. Our GOAL is to create a supportive and resilient community that empowers veterans, their families, and military dependents to thrive beyond their service. We aim to combat veteran suicide, provide pathways to meaningful employment, and ensure mental well-being. Through comprehensive support systems, education, and advocacy, we strive to foster a future where our heroes’ legacies endure, and veterans and their loved ones lead purposeful lives. Our METHOD is a multi-faceted and holistic approach encompassing comprehensive support services, mental health and suicide prevention, youth and family engagement, community building, advocacy and policy change, collaboration, continuous evaluation, and sustainability. Through these strategic approaches, we aim to create a supportive and enduring community where veterans and their families can thrive, where the legacies of our heroes are celebrated, and where meaningful employment, mental well-being, and robust support systems are the cornerstones of a brighter future for all. Our EVENT PLATFORM epitomizes our mission, vision, goals, and methods by serving as an inspirational and supportive hub for our unwavering commitment to honor veterans, preserve their legacies, prevent veteran suicide, and empower them to surmount life’s challenges. We warmly invite veterans, military spouses, and dependents of all backgrounds, including active, reserves, separated, or retired personnel, along with their esteemed guests, dedicated civilian supporters, and the wider public, to commemorate and celebrate our enduring legacies. The proceeds from this event will be dedicated to funding invaluable veteran initiatives, youth leadership camps, JROTC programs, inspiring educational scholarships, and future AVB endeavors. Your support is instrumental as we unite to nurture fellowship, extend honor, and pay tribute to our esteemed heroes and heroines. We forge a collective, meaningful, and shared patriotic community investment in our mission.
