The mission of Arms Outstretched Ministry, Inc. Belvoir, Virginia. We conduct this ministry monthly. We offer them counseling, hope and spirtual guidance.

Wounded Warrior Outreach
Arms Outstretched Ministry together with Dixie Bones Restaurant, provide catered lunch, care packages, and friendship to the wounded warriors, their families and staff at the National Naval Medical Center in the Bethesda, MD

and the Fisher House at Ft. We also provide transportation services in the form of airline tickets, rental car needs, hotel, and food needs to the families of the wounded warriors as funding is available. Homeless Outreach
Provide clothing, coats, food, blankets, hygiene items, hats, gloves, socks and the gospel to the homeless living on the streets, under bridges , wood camps and to the local shelters of in prince william, stafford, and Fredericksburg areas. We also partner with other churches and ministry groups to serve hot meals and distribute free clothing, hygine items, and other needed items to the homeless and needy families in the area which we call "Love in Action Outreach". Prison Outreach
We visit Adults and Juveniles incarcerated in the Prince William, Fairfax, and Stafford, and Fredericksburg Jail systems. We provide gifts of bibles to each inmate we visit. Teen Explosion Outreach
Provide teenagers with mentorship, counseling, and an alternate way to have fun and fellowship with other teens in an attempt to keep them off the streets! We provide food, bibles, games/quizzes, talent shows, raffle prizes, and guest speakers. We hold an event called "Teen Exposion" annually at various locations. If you would like us to hold an outreach at your church or location, contct us! We also provide school supplies to children of all ages during the school year. Virginia School of Ministry- Founded in 2014. VSOM is a discipleship and leadership school
for young adults beginning at age 17 through 30. Our mission is to Know God's hear and Make it Real" both in the lives of the students and to others. We offer students degreed programs at VSOM as a University of Valley Forge campus. www.virginiasom.com

Adopt A Soldier Outreach
In an effort to support our military troops overseas, we send care packages, cards, and letters to men and woman serving overseas during a time of war. We receive letters and emails back from the soldiers expressing their gratitude (see our testimony page). We also support the families of military members serving in war by providing food, clothing for children, diapers, home repairs, utilities, or any other need of the family. We provide groceries donated b local grocery stores and the Farm Table to military familes on a monthly basis. Gift cards are also provided to the family to purchase items of need. Senior Citizens Outreach
We fellowship with the Elderly citizens in our community who reside at the local senior citizens homes in Prince William County. We provide bingo, dramas and skits, gifts, and friendship to all the residents living in retirement homes and hospitals. We also provide for the needs of the elderly who live at home with food, shelter, home reapairs, and fellowship. Foster Children/At Risk Youth Outreach
We visit the Girl's and Boy's Foster homes, youth at risk homes, and detention and group homes in the Prince William, Stafford, Fredericksburg, and Faifax counties. We bring gifts to the children as well as needed items such as clothing, hygiene items and shoes. We also keep in touch with them throughout the year to show our love and friendship to them. During the holidays, we do something special for them such as our annual "Angel Tree" outreach when we fulfill the foster kids wish list with Christmas gifts that they would normally not be able to receive. Bread of Life Distribution
Once a week, we distribute fresh bread and bakery products donated by Food Lion and Panera Bread to the homeless living in the woods, families in the community, churches, and local fire and police stations.

We wanted to thank all of the people who generously donated toys this holiday season! We were able to bless over 50 families with gifts for Christmas for their children who may have been without if it were not for your support and generosity! We continue to pray for all of your families and for those who continue to donate to Arms Outstretched Ministry throuought the year and end of year donations, to allow us to support families in need!

Horizons Church has Thanksgiving meal boxes to give to families in need in the Stafford area. The boxes contain all the fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner to include a gift certificate to purchase the meat of choice. If you are in need of a Thanksgiving box, go to Horizons church tomorrow(Wednesday) between 9:00-11:00am to pick up. The address is 12 Flatford Rd, Stafford, VA 22554. Hello Everyone! It's been awhile since ARMS posted an update on how we're moving forward. It is our plan to continue our Elegant Meal Service on September 12, 2020. The location remains the same at Grassroots Christian Fellowship Church

Arms Outstretched Ministry is preparing for our annual fundraising gift wrapping service at Fashion Center @ Pentegon City Mall. Today begins our Elegant Meal Service for the 2019/2020 year at the new location with our partners Grassroots Christian Fellowship Church. We will be serving a cookout style meal to families and the homeless. Bring your family and join us for a meal free of charge!
We also need volunteers to help with set up at 2:30, serve the meal, and clean up at the end. If you can come for any part of the event, we would love to see you!

For all who supported the children of Domestic Violence by donating a Easter basket, we wanted to send a special "Thanks"! You put alot of smiles on the faces of all of the children!!
We had an egg hunt, craft, cookie decorating, egg coloring and Ressurrection story. Each of the children received a basket of their choice! Pictures are limited to protect the privacy of the residents.

We are holding our monthly Elegant Dinner this Saturday for the community at 5:00 pm. We need volunteers to help set up at 2:30 and stay to serve until 7:30. If you are willing to come, we are holding the dinner at Abundant Life Church located at 200 Onville Road, Stafford VA 22554. No sign up required and all ages are welcome to serve!

Arms Outstretched Ministry is continuing our Wounded Warrior outreach to the troops hospitalized at Walter Reed in 2019. We need volunteers to continue supporting the wounded warriors by serving a catered meal, visiting the troops in the hospital,and donating care packages for them. Our next outreach will be February 02, 2019 and we will go every other month thereafter I the 1st Saturday.

Arms Outstretched Ministry is preparing for our Thanksgiving and Christmas events for the Homeless and families in need and need all our supporters to help us reach those in need this Holiday!
On November 17, 2018, we are holding our annual Thanksgiving dinner and Foot Washing service. We still need new shoe donations of all sizes for November 17th for women, men and children.
December 15, 2018 is our annual Christmas Celebration and we would like to continue blessing the homeless with a gift of a shoebox as we do every year with your support! Donors fill shoeboxes with items of need then wrap the box with Christmas wrap and indicate the gender in bold letters on the top of the box. These boxes will be given to the homeless on Dec 15th during the celebration. Thank you for your continued support of the homeless!
