February discussion Question:
A husband and wife have been married for over 5 years before the wife became aware that her husband had had a son before he ever met her. The boy was almost fully grown and did not really want anything from his father apart from acknowledgement and recognition. The man was adamant that the boy had nothing to do with him because he had told the boy's mother that he didn't want a child at the time and he had told the child's mother to get rid of the pregnancy. The husband was not born again when the child was conceived but they were both saved when the young wife found out about the first child.
However, the woman decided that she just could not be in a marriage with such a person.
What would you advise the couple to do if you were asked to intervene?

January discussion question:
A woman discovered that her husband has been cheating on her. She found out when she was going through his pockets and found hotel receipts. Not knowing what to do, she turned to her best friend who advised her to confront him. So, armed with her information and evidence, she asked him to explain about the hotel and gift receipts. Instead of showing any type of remorse, he accused her of violating his privacy. To make matters worse, when she raised her voice in protest, he slapped her repeatedly. The case eventually made its way to her parents, his parents and the elders of the church. They all chastised her for going through her husbands things and for disrespecting her husband. If you were called to resolve this conflict, what would you advise the couple to do to make things better?

September's Discussion Question:
A young man and woman, planning to marry, are faced with a major decision. The woman, who lives in one city, earns 3 times as such as the man, and has a position with great potential. The man, works in a city many miles away, for a company that has promised him a promotion, but is still growing. Ultimately, the man may find himself in a high level postion within his company, but he would still earn much less than his wife. They have to decide who should move. What do you think they should do?
Dear Facebook friends,
"The Lord sent His Word and healed me."
MY recent victory over cancer has created a conviction in my spirit that I MUST share my story!!! Jesus died for my healing at the same time that he died for my salvation.I believe this with every fiber of my being. Praise the Lord that I am here to declare that the Lord has done this and it is marvelous in my eyes.
The June edition of the Christian Herald will be dedicated to healing testimonies.
Please send your divine healing testimony, or your prayer request for healing, to my inbox. The Lord is no respecter of persons. What he has done for me, he can do for you.
