Exciting News! Virginia Kindness Week is Coming!

Stafford Schools is joining this statewide celebration to spread kindness and build a more compassionate community. Each day, we’ll take on simple but meaningful challenges—because even the smallest act of kindness can make a big impact!

💙 Here’s how you can join in:
Motivational Monday: Share an inspiring quote or kind note.
Teamwork Tuesday: Celebrate collaboration and connection.
Together Wednesday: Show kindness beyond the classroom.
Thankful Thursday: Give a shoutout to someone who’s made a difference.
Feel Good Friday: Highlight your favorite acts of kindness!

Due to the current weather advisory and anticipated adverse weather conditions, all Stafford Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Thursday, February 6, 2025.

Staff should arrive two hours after their normal reporting time.

Schools will operate as follows:
• High Schools, The Phoenix Center, and Rockhill ES: 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• Elementary Schools (not including Rockhill): 10:25 a.m. - 2:55 p.m.
• Middle Schools: 11:20 a.m. - 3:50 p.m.
• North Star ECEC: Full day program begins at 9:37 a.m. No morning half day program. Afternoon half day program begins at 12 p.m.
• Rising Star ECEC: Full day program begins at 11:23 a.m. No morning half day program. Afternoon half day program begins at 12:45 p.m.

Buses will also operate on a 2-hour delay. Please check the MyRide K-12 app for current bus information. For our drivers, please slow down and drive safely.

We will re-evaluate conditions tomorrow morning and let you know as soon as possible if a change is necessary. We appreciate your patience with weather related delays and closures and understand the strain that this puts on families. Thank you for helping us to prioritize safety.
