A little humor for everyone, but please do take caution when performing any outdoor activities or letting pets out to use the bathroom. Stay hydrated.
Folks. Due to the extreme heat, we are asking anyone thinking of doing criminal activity to hold off until Monday. It is straight up hot as soccer balls out there. Conducting criminal activity, in this extreme heat is next level henchmen status, and also very dangerous.
Stay home, blast the AC, binge Stranger Things season 3, play with the face app, practice karate in your basement We will all meet again on Monday when it's cooler.
Sincerely,
The PoPo
PS: please no spoiler alerts. We're just finishing season 2
Please stay safe during this storm, stay indoors with your family members and pets until the storm has passed.
The National Weather Service is your best source for complete weather forecast and weather related information on the web!
Heat indices around 105 degrees are possible Wednesday and Thursday during the afternoon and early evening hours.
Dangerous heat and humidity are likely Friday through Sunday
across the entire area. Heat indices of 110 to 115 degrees are
possible during the afternoon and evening hours each day, and heat indices may hold in the 80s and 90s at night. If the prolonged heat and humidity is realized, it will become a significant threat to anyone exposed to the heat for an extended period of time.
For heat safety tips please visit - https://www.ready.gov/heat
Wishing everyone a happy 4th of July!
🔴Beat the heat by staying hydrated.
🔴Protect your skin and eyes from the sun’s ultraviolet rays.
🔴 Keep sparklers, glow sticks, fireworks, charcoal and kabob skewers away from small children and curious pets.
🔴Remember that too much sun and heat (and humidity!) can be dangerous. Keep pets inside when it’s extremely hot/humid; make sure they have access to shady spots and plenty of water when outdoors; don’t leave them outside for extended periods in hot weather; and know the signs that a pet may be overheating.
🔴Check your yard for fireworks debris before allowing children and pets outside to play or relax. Even if you didn’t set off fireworks yourself, debris can make its way into your yard.
🔴If you hosted guests, check both your yard and home for food scraps or other debris, such as food skewers.

Good Morning Stafford! A resident sent us this picture showing the damage to their car windshield caused by snow flying off another vehicle traveling nearby. It is a good reminder that leaving mounds of snow on top of your car poses a danger to fellow drivers. Please remember to give yourself extra time before you hit the road in the morning to clear off your entire vehicle including the car’s roof, windows, headlights, and hood.
Happy New Year 🚒🚑
