Inclusive design is at the heart of this project, ensuring visitors of all ages and abilities have the opportunity to connect, explore, and join in on the fun.

This week, we had the privilege of hosting Jill Moore, Inclusive Play Specialist with Landscape Structures Inc.!

Through educational sessions and site tours, Jill shared valuable insights on the changing population of children on the playground, and how to create play spaces that meet their unique needs.

A special thank you to Pearland Parks and Recreation for supporting the session at the beautiful Ed Thompson Inclusive Park, and to TIRR Memorial Hermann for welcoming our team and contributing to these important conversations around accessibility and inclusion.

We’re excited to invite the community out for the Four Corners Park Splash Pad Ribbon Cutting as we celebrate a new space built for families, children, and neighbors to enjoy together. Projects like this are about more than recreation — they’re about creating opportunities for community connection, outdoor activity, and memorable experiences for residents of all ages.

This new splash pad at Four Corners Recreation Center represents another step forward in continuing to invest in spaces that bring people together and enhance the quality of life throughout Precinct 4. We look forward to celebrating with everyone and officially opening a place where families can gather, kids can play, and the community can make lasting memories for years to come.
