If you are transporting waste, it is vital to secure your loads properly. During this spring cleaning season, please ensure that your items are securely fastened. Improperly secured loads account for 71% of the litter found on our community's roadways. Remember, if you haul, secure it!

Wildlife and litter don’t mix. Yet, according to our 2020 litter study, there are an estimated 50 BILLION pieces of litter along U.S. roadways and waterways! This litter has devastating effects on animals.

Today, on World Wildlife Day, make an impact in your community by taking the pledge! Together, we can protect our animal friends and create a better world. kab.org/greatest
