From Operator to Builder: Honoring Those Who Paved the Way
Since September, Tactical Arborist has grown from a vision into a thriving enterprise—crossing $460k in revenue. But the real milestone isn't just the numbers. It's what they represent: a team that operates with excellence and makes decisions at the highest level, with or without me in the field.
By day, I serve in the Pentagon doing legislative affairs for the Army. By conviction, I'm building something that will outlast my direct involvement.
This shift from tactical ex*****on to strategic leadership mirrors everything I learned in Army Special Operations: the best leaders build leaders, not dependencies. My focus now is on vision clarity, margin discipline, and equipping, training, developing, and empowering our team to execute at the highest level.
That's when real growth happens. That's when a business becomes a legacy.
As we approach Memorial Day, I want to pause and acknowledge the weight of that word—legacy. This success is built on the shoulders of those who came before. I've lost many brothers and sisters over the years, and their sacrifice, their courage, their example guide every decision I make. I don't honor them with words alone. I honor them by building something meaningful, leading with integrity, creating opportunities for others to thrive, and refusing to compromise on what matters most.
In a world that often separates faith, family, and work, I've refused to do that. My perspective is anchored in three things:
1. Faith — my moral compass and source of resilience
2. Family — my greatest responsibility and my why
3. Discipline — the mindset that turns obstacles into opportunities
To my team, my family, and everyone who's part of this journey—thank you. We're only getting started.
Onward and upward.
