On October 15, Pacific House will gather with nearly 200 community leaders, supporters, elected officials, and friends for our Annual Benefit, Unlocking the Future.

It will be an evening centered on the people and stories behind our work — hearing directly from clients, case managers, President & CEO, Carmen Colón, and community leaders, with Melissa Sheketoff of Melissa in the Morning, WICC Radio, as our Master of Ceremonies.

This is the one in-person event Pacific House hosts each year, and it plays a critical role in raising the funds needed to prevent and end homelessness in Fairfield County.

Tomorrow, we celebrate our community, share stories of impact, and look ahead to what’s possible when we unlock the future — together. 💙🔑

"Pacific House cares with action."

Those are Theresa's words, and they capture something we hear often from the neighbors we serve. Theresa came to Pacific House after years of struggle, and her path forward began with the Pacific House Outreach team who never stopped showing up.

The team continued to connect with Theresa on the street until she was ready to come off the streets and seek support from Pacific House.

Today, Theresa's story is proof that consistency, patience, and a genuine relationship can open the door to stability. We are grateful to Theresa for trusting Pacific House with her story.

Fairfield County's rising costs continue to impact our hardworking neighbors. Zachary spent decades working full time at ShopRite when a temporary, challenging time in his life left him searching for stability.

"I've worked my whole life. I have a full time job, but I just cannot afford the increasing rent prices in Fairfield County. I was fortunate to develop a relationship with a Pacific House Board member who connected me to Pacific House. I am able to continue working full time and now also have a home that I can afford. I am glad I didn't have to leave my community, my job and my support. I am just trying to make a living. Life is expensive."

Fortunately, Pacific House has properties designated for neighbors just like Zachary, working, resilient, and simply priced out of a community they call home. We are grateful to our Board Member Steven Chin for connecting Zachary to Pacific House, and to Zachary for sharing his story.

Sometimes the smallest things make the biggest difference.

Clean socks. Hygiene products. A warm blanket. These are not luxuries, they are essentials that many people take for granted, and they can be difficult to access without stable housing.

Through our Baskets of Hope program, community members come together to provide neighbors experiencing homelessness with thoughtfully assembled packages of essential items, meeting immediate needs while supporting long term stability and dignity.

Did you know Pacific House is often the first point of contact for people seeking housing and support in lower Fairfield County?

Anyone can walk into the HUB and connect with our trained Resource Service Advocates (RSAs) and caseworkers for help navigating their path toward housing and stability.

Our men’s shelter is located in the same building. Guests have access to showers, laundry, two meals a day, a bed, one-on-one meetings with a designated caseworker, educational programs, and more.

These critical services and programming at the shelter is made possible partly through funding provided by the Greenwich Department of Human Services.

We are hiring, and we would love for you to join our team.

Pacific House is hosting a hiring event on September 18, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 597 Pacific Street, Stamford, CT. We are looking to fill Resident Support Advocate and Case Manager positions, and all applicants will be interviewed on the spot.

Resident Support Advocates help ensure a safe, supportive residential environment through resident assistance, facility monitoring, emergency response, and documentation. Case Managers assess neighbor needs, develop housing plans, and provide ongoing support and connection to resources through the housing transition process.

Walk-ins are welcome. Just bring your resume and cover letter.
