Inspirica, Inc. By operating shelters, transitional housing and permanent housing we can end homelessness and housing instability rather than provide only a temporary fix.

Founded in 1879, Inspirica is one of the largest providers of housing and support services in Connecticut, striving to end homelessness and housing insecurity by helping individuals and families achieve independence. We serve single women, families, people with mental illness, and persons living with HIV/AIDS, working across the spectrum of people who are homeless rather than just one segment. We address not just the physical part of homelessness, but all the reasons a person becomes homeless.

Last week, over 200 of our supporters gathered for our annual Seeds of Hope Gala; from the thunderous applause for our remarkable frontline staff, to proudly raising their paddles to sustain our mission, our community is second to none!

At Inspirica, we're often graced with random acts of kindness from our community.

Recently, we were the grateful recipients of a large donation of new baby clothes from a local mom honoring the memory of a daughter lost too soon.

Her note to us read: "In loving memory of my daughter, I am donating these items to help spread kindness and comfort to others. Thank you for all that you do for those in need. It means so much to honor her memory through an act of compassion."
