Scott County Fire crews are on the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision in the 1300 block of Stamping Ground Road.

Avoid this area!! If you are trying to go outbound on Stamping Ground Road, you should still be able to take Frankfort Road to Galloway to get around the area.

Expect that the 1300 block of Stamping Ground Road will be closed for several hours and plan your commute accordingly.

⚠️THE CLOSURE ON WOODLAKE RD. FOR MONDAY AT 1PM HAS BEEN MOVED TO TUESDAY STARTING AT 9AM⚠️

KY 1688 (Woodlake Road) at mile point 0.3 near the Franklin County line will now be closed Tuesday, Aug. 11, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for paving operations.

Please be aware on your morning commute and plan accordingly.

🚒Training Opportunities Out and About🚒

This week, Scott County Fire Department invited our members to join them in a special training at the R+L Carriers facility. While this facility is not in our normal response district, if a major fire or hazardous materials incident were to occur here, it is very likely that we would be called upon to respond and assist as Mutual Aid. Opportunities like this help our department grow stronger and be more prepared for whatever incidents may happen in the future!
