You know how Republicans like to show rural counties all covered in red to pretend that land votes and not people? Well, here's yesterday's referendum results with population, not land, creating the map.

All counties and cities are scaled off of Fairfax County, Virginia's largest county by population. Example: Fairfax County (northern Virginia) has about 52 times the population of Lee County (southwest Virginia). Therefore, the Fairfax circle is 52x the size of the Lee County circle. However, Lee County is actually larger in land mass than Fairfax County. But, land doesn't vote, people do.
