🚨 PSA: June is Move Over Awareness Month across the country and in Virginia🚨

We understand people are traveling for the summer and in a hurry to get to their destination. Our number one priority is for everyone to make it there safely.

When you see emergency lights, tow truck lights, utility vehicles, roadside workers, or disabled vehicles with hazard lights on the shoulder, Virginia law requires drivers to move over to a non-adjacent lane when safe to do so. If you cannot safely move over, you must slow down and proceed with caution.

Failure to comply can result in serious penalties, including traffic citations and, for emergency vehicles, a Class 1 misdemeanor/reckless driving charge.

One lane can save a life. Move Over. Slow Down. Stay Alert.

As we finish out National Police Week we would like to thank Wawa in Ruckersville and Greene Acres Rehab for lunch and donuts!

Let us also remember all of the fallen officers that we recognize during this week.
We especially hold close two of our own, Rodney Davis and Chad Carr, who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to their community. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

We carry their legacy with us—today and always.
