When the time comes to consider assisted living for a loved one, the family has to work through a great deal of research to find the right place. As my mother began to suffer from Alzheimer's and significant memory loss over the past year, we decided that Harbor at Renaissance of Greene County had all of the characteristics we were looking for in an Assisted Living Facility. We researched multiple facilities in Northern Virginia as well as the greater Charlottesville/Greene County area. One of our main concerns is our family is spread out across the US and we needed somewhere that could care for her and keep us informed between visits. The leadership and staff at Renaissance answered all of our questions and patiently worked with us as we looked for the very best fit. Our Mother moved in a few months ago and we have been amazingly pleased with everything about the Renaissance. From the caring staff to the cleanliness of the facility and the attention to detail, we have been complete impressed with everything. Beth and her staff are readily available and have worked with us to ensure Mom is getting all the care she needs. I would strongly recommend Harbor at Renaissance should your family member need a higher level of care than the family can provide at home.

This Memorial Day, we join together to remember and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. We are forever grateful for their selflessness and the enduring freedom their service secured for us all.

May we all take a moment today to reflect on their bravery and legacy.

Our Memorial Day Cookout this Friday is being POSTPONED! 😢

With the expected rain this week, we are sad to say we will be postponing our cookout. Hopefully we will be blessed with some sunshine next week and can make it up! ❤️💙
