We are especially proud to share this exciting announcement at the beginning of National Farmers Market Week!

Last week, the Stanberry Main Street Market was recognized at the Missouri Main Street Connection State Conference with a Transformational Promotion Award.

This award recognizes the incredible work that has gone into transforming our market over the past three years into a vibrant community event that celebrates and supports small businesses. From shopping local vendors and downtown merchants to enjoying live music, delicious food trucks, children's crafts, and themed activities throughout the season, the Main Street Market has become a place where our community comes together.

This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of our Farmers Market Committee. A special thank you to Committee Chair OraKay Redmond, along with Connie Cooper, Tammy Gage, and Debbie Nickell, for the countless hours they invest each week organizing the market and creating an event that shines a spotlight on our downtown and the businesses that make our community special.

As we celebrate National Farmers Market Week, we also celebrate the volunteers, vendors, downtown businesses, musicians, food trucks, and community members who have made the Stanberry Main Street Market such a success. Thank you for continuing to shop local, support local, and help our community thrive!

Election Day in Missouri is Tuesday, August 4. For many families, this falls during the final weeks of summer vacations.

If you'll be away on Election Day, you can take advantage of no-excuse absentee voting.

**No-Excuse Absentee Voting**
**July 21 – August 3** (8:30am - 4:30pm)

"No excuse" means exactly that—you are not required to provide a reason for voting absentee instead of voting on Election Day.

To cast your ballot:

✅ Visit the Gentry County Courthouse in Albany.
✅ Go to the County Clerk's Office.
✅ Present an acceptable form of identification to verify your identity.
✅ Receive your ballot and vote.

The process is quick and straightforward and allows eligible voters to cast their ballot before Election Day if they choose.
