Well our annual appreciation dinner for the trustees and members had a bit of an unusual start. About 10 minutes prior to the start Standard Fire was requested on mabas box 101 for spring valley, the fire scene was a half block away from the venue the dinner was being hosted at. After the fire was extinguished the firefighters who responded were able to enjoy dinner with everyone. We also had two members who achieved milestones, first was EMT Caitlyn Brandner who has served for 5 years, and FF/EMT Lyle Calkins who was not able to attend has reached then 15 year mark. Thank you to all our members for the incredible effort you put in.

Congratulations on your retirement, you will be missed

One once said “The days are long but the years go fast.” The last 26 years have gone fast for Captain Brian Zeller who will work his last shift at LaSalle Fire Department today September 16, 2025. Brian has served the LaSalle Fire Department as an Engineer, EMT and Captain. Please help us in congratulating Brian on his retirement and wish him all the best on his new chapter.
